We are happy to announce that one more Selenium Camp is done and our Eastern Europe community gathered again in Kiev under Selenium flags. This year we tried to add general testing automation topics to the conference program and not limit it to Selenium related talks. But testing with Selenium/WebDriver is still in the main focus of the conference.
We got very positive feedback from participants and already have results from our voting application. So we are happy to announce top talks according to participants feedback:
- 1st place is shared between “Good test = short test” by Andrei Solntsev and “How to make your functional tests really quick” by Mikalai Alimenkou. Both talks got 188 points.
- 2nd place with 186 points is taken by Mikalai Alimenkou with talk “Why testing take so much time?”.
- 3rd place with 182 points goes to Marcus Merrell and his talk “Testing Web Analytics”.
- 4th place with 180 points is shared between Dave Haeffner with talk “Practical Tips & Tricks for Selenium” and Vitali Shulha with talk “Teaching automation. How big companies do it.”.
- 5th place with 173 points goes to “Webium: Page Objects in Python” by Igor Khrol.
We can add that near the half of all talks have no negative votes. This is very good sign for the conference program.
We want to note that all speakers did their best and this competition is very informal. If you want to share your opinions about the conference program, please don’t hesitate to write it to us directly. Your feedback will affect the next year plans.
We started gathering conference materials including feedback reports, photos, slides. If you have something to share please contact us. Video will be available in April and published there as well.
Looking forward to see you at Selenium Camp 2015!
