Selenium conference in Europe

At the end of winter, February 25, training center XP Injection invites you to Kiev to take part in Selenium Camp 2012 conference, entirely devoted to open source tool for automated testing of web applications — Selenium. Selenium Camp is the conference, which is aimed to bring together all those who use Selenium.

Selenium Camp 2011 was the first conference in the world completely devoted to Selenium. 300 participants attended the conference. The camp was really international, despite the most part of the participants were from Eastern Europe. We received visitors from Czech Republic, Estonia, Moldova, the UK, Russia, Belarus and Ukraine. 17 speakers from different countries presented 3 master classes and 15 talks. As an invited speaker David Burns, one of the core Selenium development team members, attended the conference. We received many positive feedbacks from participants and speakers. Selenium is gaining popularity and becoming an unofficial standard for testing web applications. A lot has changed in world of Selenium this year: Selenium 2.0 (aka WebDriver) was released, the product has completely different architecture, API and principles of work. Selenium is supported now by many browsers and different tools for testing. 2011 year is a starting point of new era in life of this tool, so it means even more practices, approaches, solutions and tools. Speakers will have what to share and talk about.

Selenium Camp 2012 will be interesting as a starting point for those, who start using Selenium, and also for professionals who use the product for a long time. Selenium Camp 2012 is a two-days conference with variety of talks, master-classes and practical reports on Selenium usage for testing application written on different programming languages (Java, .NET, PHP, Ruby, Python etc.). There will be also presentations on the integration of Selenium with other tools for testing (Fitnesse, Cucumber, Tellurium, etc.) and writing individual domain languages. Join us! For participants

Participation in the conference will not be free, but we will try to do our best to make the cost as minimal as possible. To make it possible we are actively seeking for sponsors who would help us to hold the conference on high quality level and make it accessible to a wider audience. The number of participants is limited. We plan no more than 400 participants. Nearly 240 participants have registered during first 2 registration stages. At the moment «Last chance» registration stage is opened with price of 105$. The mentioned price is only valid if registered before February 20. On February 20 registration will be closed.
